The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London's leading space for film, music, performance and the visual arts by today's most progressive artists, introduces the new musical play, STARS: An Afrofuturist Space Odyssey. Centered around pleasure, desire and female orgasms, this experimental show is a tongue-in-cheek, moving celebration of Black Queer empowerment and arousal.

Through state-of-the-art theatre reimagined as a concept album on stage, guests will embark on a journey guided by an elderly woman's search for her lost orgasm across outer space. The live play, written by internationally acclaimed theatre-makers, features music by Sun Ra, Jamila Woods, Floating Points, etc and is engrossed in African mythology and folklore to deliver an "unabashedly queer, feminist rallying call."

STARS: An Afrofuturist Space Odyssey will be available to view from April 13 until May 4. Moreover, on April 22 and 29, the show will transform into an unmissable club night with guest DJs and characters from the show. To purchase tickets and explore the cast and creative team, visit the ICA's website.

In case you missed it, Dan Lam's trippy sculptures move "Beyond Reality."
