Oily Skin Used to Control My Life... Until I Discovered This Grease-Blotting Stone

info@hypebae.com (Hypebae)  Thu, 12 Dec 2024  Hypebae

From mid-morning shine to constantly fumbling around with blotting papers, I'm always fighting an uphill battle with my oily skin. No matter how many mattifying products I tried or how often I would powder throughout the day, nothing seemed to fully control the excess oil that I produced.

That was until I discovered a game-changing solution: the grease-blotting, shine-eliminating "Oil Control" Roller from Peace Out. The minute I saw this product online, I ran to throw it in my shopping cart. Now, this simple, yet effective oil solution is my skin-saving secret weapon.

Continue reading to hear my honest review and how I was able to kiss my oily skin goodbye, for good.

Peace Out "Oil Control" Roller: Why The Hype?

The "Oil Control" Roller is garnering buzz because it's a much-needed upgrade from blotting papers. Unlike blotting papers, which can sometimes disturb makeup, the roller effortlessly lifts away excess oil, leaving skin matte and fresh without disrupting your look. It's also designed for on-the-go use, providing convenient, mess-free shine control anytime. The refillable packaging makes it a more sustainable option, offering long-lasting shine control without contributing to waste. Its star ingredient, Dragonite Halconite Clay eliminates impurities, draws out dead skin cells and helps prevent blackhead formation for those who are acne-prone. During Peace Out's development of this product, 100% of participants in its consumer testing found the product instantly removed oil, did not disturb makeup and was easy to use.

Peace Out "Oil Control" Roller: How To Use

Remove the cap of the product and gently roll the stone where you produce the most oil -- typically on the forehead, T-zone and cheeks.

The Final Verdict

In all honesty, the immediate results from this oil roller shocked me to my core. After a quick application, I noticed oil reduction and that my complexion was significantly less shiny. Four hours after application, I noticed a small amount of oil starting to return. However, it was still far less than what I usually see after that amount of time — a huge win in my book.

When I compare it to regular blotting sheets, the difference is striking right from the start. This process is cleaner, faster and more efficient. With blotting papers, you have to pull them out, press them onto your face and then scramble to find a trash can to dispose of them. Plus, many of the ones I've used in the past tend to lift a bit of makeup along with the oil, which is always frustrating. With the Peace Out "Oil Control" Roller, this is not an issue in the slightest.

The final verdict? This oil roller has earned its place as my new favorite skincare essential. I'll be carrying it with me everywhere — it's officially a staple in my bag for the long haul.
