The Ordinary Is Bringing Back Its Cult-Favorite Serum Foundation Hybrid

In a growing trend of brands bringing back beloved discontinued products, The Ordinary is making a highly anticipated return with its most-requested makeup item — the Serum Foundation — but only for a limited time.

"At the end of 2022, we decided to bid farewell to a staple within our range. After seeing all of your enthusiasm for bringing back this much-loved formulation, we decided it's time to get reacquainted," the brand said in a statement to the press. "Special in its simplicity, our serum-based [foundation] offers pigment and buildable coverage for an exceptionally smooth, natural finish that showcases your real skin."

After much demand, this highly-requested product is back, offering the same lightweight, buildable coverage and skin-like finish that made it a fan favorite in the first place. This foundation's range is vast and inclusive — it features 36 different shades.

While there are no plans from The Ordinary to keep the Serum Foundation as a permanent fixture, the brand is asking fans and customers to give their honest feedback on its Instagram. "As always, we welcome all feedback, which we'll be closely monitoring to send off to our lab."
