BLACKPINK's Jennie Opens up About Dating, Fate and Baddie Hamsters

Amelia Dimoldenberg's popular YouTube series Chicken Shop Date has had a pretty impressive cast over the years, with some of her most recent episodes featuring names like Harris Dickinson and Wicked's Cynthia Erivo. Now, the presenter and creator has tapped BLACKPINK's Jennie as her latest guest.

Since going solo, the K-pop star has dipped her toe into many a world, from starring in HBO's The Idol and walking the runway at Jacquemus to featuring in the latest Gentle Monster jewelry campaign.

Speaking about dating on the episode, Jennie admits that she considers herself to be "very romantic," adding that she likes "to surprise [her] dates." When discussing the biggest compliment she can give someone, Jennie says it's telling them she likes them, because she "doesn't like anyone." That said Dimoldenberg clearly passes the test... "I like you so much that I flew into London to see you," Jennie tells her.

Talking about her type, Dimoldenberg confirms that Jennie "doesn't like cute guys" and instead, is all about the sex appeal. "Sexy guys don't know that they're sexy. Cute guys know that they're cute," the artist explains. When discussing the concept of love at first sight, Jennie says she's a firm believer, and "knows instantly whether it's going to work or not."

The date progresses and the duo begins to talk about pets, where Jennie admits that she has a hamster named Baddie -- already, we're obsessed.
