LUAR made its comeback after a two-year hiatus at New York Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2022. Showcased on the Raul Lopez-designed runway, the label's Ana handbag has become a coveted accessory, having sold out shortly after its drop on Friday.

Already spotted on stars like Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan, the Ana is a vintage-inspired top-handle bag incorporated with a '80s-style briefcase-like shape. The piece arrives in five colorways -- "Black," "Iridescent," "Tan Ostrich," "Blue & White Crocodile" and "Espresso."

"I was on hiatus for two years. Before, I think I was really just thinking of designing for my friends and trying to prove a point to everyone. My friends are really amazing artists and designers and stylists -- they all work in fashion and art," the Hood By Air co-founder spoke of his comeback with WWD. "I really needed a break to get myself together. I’m done just trying to be an artist. I need to make some money to keep funding myself, so I sat back for two years figuring that out," he added, revealing a more commercial-focused approach for his brand.

In addition to the small size, the handbag is set to release in larger iterations in the coming months. You can head to LUAR's web store to get your hands on the Ana in "Iridescent" and "Blue & White Crocodile," available for pre-order now. Prices range from $235 to $265 USD.
