The creative directors of The Attico, Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio, both recently went through heartbreak. For their Spring/Summer 2025 show at Milan Fashion Week they opted to translate this experience into a collection which explores strength in fragility. They told us backstage: "It's a metaphor. We wanted to explore the feelings of fragility this season. This arose from a very personal story, that both of us have been through at the same time ---heartbreak.  Usually heartbreak is something that women in fashion don't like to talk about, they talk about strength. But, this is also a message of strength, fragility and strength can co-exists in the same story. We decided to place the show in this brutalist location, which is not a venue we'd usually show in. Fragility also arises in the collection with transparent fabrics which communicate the transparency of our feelings."

For their collection called "The Sound of Breaking Glass," the creative duo presented a journey of contrasts. The show venue was decorated in colorful chandeliers and lamps while sounds of breaking glass shot through the speakers. As for the garments, bold sensuality shines through sheer fabrics, figure-hugging silhouettes, intricate embroidery and feathered headpieces. The color palette features muted, time-worn shades with a single vibrant red accent. Additionally, the SS25 showcase debuted the brand's first everyday bag, "La Passeggiata," available for purchase immediately following the show.

This season, The Attico also experimented with a masculine edge through durable materials like nylon, oversized cargo pants and bomber jackets, drawing inspiration from athleisure wear. Their journey into sportswear was brought to life through a sophomore partnership with Nike. Tordini tells us, "We mixed in sportswear this season to tap into the masculine side which is one side of our woman which is always there. This partnership with Nike is just the starting point. We added a few pieces like Shox and ready-to-wear. We treated them like the rest of the collection to make them look old. More to come with Nike!"
