Others may be ranking the 2023 Met Gala looks in terms of who ate and who flopped, but we're taking a starry-eyed approach and pondering what the zodiac signs might have worn for the Superbowl of fashion.

The theme for the first Monday of May was in honor of Karl Lagerfeld and while the French luxury designer had a penchant for a neutral color palette and an abundance of accessories, celebrities used their imagination to pay homage to the creative director of Chanel as some wore iconic looks from the house or even dressed up as the visionary's cat.

Aries

There is no one who captured the spirit of the Met Gala more than Doja Cat and much like the fiery Aries, the singer is not shy to show she understands the assignment. The first sign of the zodiac is bold and unapologetically themselves and Doja Cat's feline ensemble delivers the main character energy Aries are loved for.

Taurus

Given how resourceful Tauruses can be, Nicole Kidman's repurposed Chanel gown is the automatic answer to the earth sign's Met Gala dress code. The legendary Australian actor stood out even more as she went the sustainable route, turning heads in the iconic tulle dress from her more than memorable 2004 No.5 commercial.

Gemini

Embodying true duality, Geminis have a hard time just choosing one aesthetic. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's coordinated Met Gala outfits evoke the twins' balanced nature, offering both masculine and feminine energy. Rihanna opted for a larger than life floral Valentino gown and extravagant accessories on one hand, A$AP donned a simple yet statement-making kilt over jeans with multiple Gucci belts.

Cancer

Singer-songwriter Ava Max's pearl-covered look effortlessly encapsulates Cancer's sensitive and romantic spirit. The musician's all-white ensemble evokes the water sign's innate ethereal aura, while the gem-encrusted hood nods to the emotional sign's tendency to run and hide.

Leo

As radiant as the sun, Michaela Coel's sheer Met Gala shift perfectly presents Leo's sense of pride. Created by Schiaparelli designer Daniel Roseberry and her stylist Georgia Medley, the dress looks to the heavens for inspiration, boasting glinting stars and shining orbs comprised of a myriad of crystals. Only a Leo would have the courage pull this off.

Virgo

Keke Palmer's exceptional tweed gown screams Virgo's boss babe energy -- from the bouffant to the luxurious train. The fabric itself conjures a prim and proper sense of femininity and the new mother is certainly giving mommy energy in the curve-hugging strapless dress.

Libra

The romantic sign would definitely bring a camera on the Met Gala red carpet, not wanting to miss a moment. Ice Spice channeled Libra's stage mom tendency, carrying a film camera as an accessory to her elegant and shimmering white floor-sweeping gown, complete with strategically-placed cutouts.

Scorpio

Scorpios would 100 percent opt for all-black, mirroring Rita Ora's enigmatic Prabal Gurung dress, complete with a sinfully dramatic train. The singer's outfit definitely delivers Scorpio's sultry energy as it flaunts a bit of backside with the help of an elongated sheer bodice.

Sagittarius

Known for their infectiously bold and passionate energy, Sagittarius would follow in Florence Pugh's footsteps, thinking outside of the box and stealing the show with a sky-high headdress, juxtaposed by a dainty white strapless dress, adorned with a girlish bow.

Capricorn

Aquarius

Aquarians are forward-thinking idealists, making indigenous model and activist Quannah Chasinghorse's subtle satorial shade the perfect outfit. While Lagerfeld operated at the helm of one of the greatest fashion houses of our time, the Met Gala theme brought controversy as the designer holds several problematic beliefs. Wearing his least favorite color -- pink, while accessorizing with handmade Dakota jewelry is the most fashionable "f you" to someone who's made anti-racist statements.

Pisces

Yara Shahidi's mermaid-core gown feels like its made for Pisces. The luminescent opal lining the bronze corset paired with a flowing asymmetric skirt is just giving just stepped out of a seashell energy.
