The fashion crowd will be heading to Seoul, South Korea next week, as Louis Vuitton prepares to stage Nicolas Ghesquière's first Pre-Fall 2023 runway for the house in the city.

The anticipated event is scheduled to take place on the Jamsugyo Bridge at the Hangang River, a popular spot for locals this time of the year as the season transitions from spring to summer. This will be the first time a fashion show will be held on the bridge, while Hwang Dong-hyuk, the director of Squid Game, is serving as a creative advisor for the show's scenography.

As reported by WWD, Louis Vuitton's new chairman and chief executive officer Pietro Beccari noted Seoul as a "cultural hub that continues to draw global attention" and a place that "shares a common spirit with Louis Vuitton for pioneering the future, reimagining creativity and nurturing savoir faire." The media outlet also revealed that 1,600 guests are invited to the event, 100 of which will be local fashion students.

Stay tuned for Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall 2023 show, slated for April 29 at the Jamsugyo Bridge in Seoul with livestreams available on social media and outdoor screens across the city.
