Here’s Why Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum Broke Up

According to People, celebrity couple Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum have ended their engagement.

At the Blink Twice premiere, the celebrity couple appeared to be all smiles celebrating Kravitz's directorial debut. However, the Catwoman star surprised fans after being spotted on multiple occasions without her ring.

A source revealed "It fizzled fast after their press tour wrapped... Wedding plans were looming, but neither of them were rushing to the altar." As a result, the Blink Twice actor and director were forced to face the music. "Ultimately once the project ended, they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted. Zoë [Kravitz] is a very independent person."

They continued, "After her divorce, she expressed that she didn’t necessarily need to get married again. She and Channing are opposites, but they always bonded over their love for art and film, and that is what held them together. They realized long-term that it wasn’t going to work out. They were looking at the long-term bigger picture and realized they may not be a good match."

The pair engaged in 2023 and after being together for two years. Just ahead of their engagement, Kravitz told GQ, "He’s just a wonderful human. He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do. We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other.”

She continued: "Whether it was making me tea or pouring me a drink or going to whip someone into shape or whatever, he really was my protector and it was really wonderful and sweet. I think if you can do something like that together, it’s a good test. And we came out even stronger."
