Eadem, the BIPOC-founded beauty brand created for skin that is rich in melanin, has launched its first-ever body care serum, created to help heal and prevent ingrown hairs.

The Smooth Slate Ingrown Relief Serum works to tamp down irritation and inflammation after hair removal, whether that's shaving, waxing or even laser hair removal. It will allow ingrown hair to come to the surface, essentially un-trapping it and helping made hyperpigmentation, while also slowing down hair regrowth.

Made with powerhouse ingredients like azelaic, mandelic and lactic acids, sunflower oil, yellow daffodil bulb extract and allantoin, you'll find that after use, you'll have smoother skin, less dark marks and pigment.

"At Eadem, we create products that don't yet exist for people typically forgotten by the beauty industry. For our first body product, we focused on an ingrown hair serum because the marks and bumps that hair removal leaves behind really impact how we all move and feel in our skin, even what we wear. Smooth Slate is a scientific solution that goes beyond what's on the market: it untraps ingrown hairs, fades dark spots and scarring and slows hair regrowth,"  said Marie Kouadio Amouzame, co-founder of Eadem, in a press statement.

The Eadem Smooth Slate Ingrown Relief Serum retails for $36 USD and is available now exclusively at the brand's website.
