Channing Tatum Becomes Face Of New Versace Fragrance, Eros Energy

Six-pack abs, hunky biceps and known for his roles in Step Up and Magic Mike, it's no wonder why Channing Tatum is categorized as one of the sexiest men in Hollywood.

But when you think of Tatum, do you think of him as the Greek God of Love? Versace thinks so as he's just been announced as the face of its latest men's fragrance, "Eros Energy."

"Eros Energy" takes inspiration from the romantic Mediterranean coastline -- think fresh saltwater air, a warm summer breeze and a sun-kissed skyline. This fragrance bursts with zingy citrus including lime, lemon, mandarin, grapefruit and blood orange while "Italian Bergamot," "Oak Moss," "Patchouli" and "White Amber" notes offer a depth of warmth.

The perfume is elegantly presented in a yellow sapphire bottle adorned with the signature Versace Greca and Medusa etched at the center. The bottle is topped with a bronze Versace bottle cap, which adds an extra touch of luxury.

"I love the strength of these images. Channing makes the perfect face for Eros. He is strong and determined and at the same time incredibly kind and charming. He is the modern Eros -- celebrating love, power and dedication" says Donatella Versace in a press release.

"To represent the Versace Eros fragrances, which have such a powerful place not just in fashion but in culture, is a great privilege and to do so for my friend Donatella is beyond words. Thank you, Donatella, I love you" shares Tatum.

This partnership is a natural fit for the actor. Although he's been part of the Versace family for some time, having worn the brand to the MET Gala in 2021 and attending the memorable Fall/Winter 2023 show in Los Angeles, this marks his first lead role for any fashion house.

"Eros Energy" will be available for purchase by the end of August.
