Super Nintendo World Theme Park to Open in the U.S. in 2023

The Super Nintendo World theme park, which opened its Japan location in 2021, is now coming to the U.S. in 2023.
"The immersive land will be a visual spectacle of vibrant colors and architectural ingenuity located within a newly expanded area of the theme park, featuring a groundbreaking ride and interactive areas, to be enjoyed by the whole family. Themed shopping and dining will enhance the entire experience," Nintendo shared in an official announcement. This will mark the theme park's first U.S. location at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles.
The company has revealed visitors will be able to enter "the world of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach," so we can expect most of the theme park to focus on the Super Mario franchise. In addition to the Hollywood location, Super Nintendo World is slated to land in Universal Studios Orlando, although specific dates have yet to be announced.
In addition to rides and attractions, the space will feature themed restaurants and stores. Stay tuned as we learn more about Super Nintendo World’s Hollywood opening.
