If you're a fan of Bad Bunny, then you know his music is versatile. His songs have to do with anything from heartbreak, partying or social injustices. In his latest interview with TIME, he revealed what inspires his art, and as expected for any artist, a variety of things, including his love life, have something to do with it.

"I always attempt to give the real me in my songs," he said. "I am a chamaquito (still young). We have different preoccupations and desires to do one thing one day and the next not. One moment we go to the club to drink and smoke, and tomorrow I want to be chilling at home watching a movie. Tuesday I want to go to the gym and Wednesday I want to eat a hamburger. And then next I’ll be thinking about my ex or a girl that I like. And then tomorrow I am bothered over something I think is an injustice. But then by night I go to eat tacos, they give me a bit of tequila and I’ve forgotten."

Most recently, Bad Bunny has been romantically linked to Kendall Jenner. In February, the celeb couple made headlines after it was reported they were seen making out. Earlier this month, their romance was confirmed with paparazzi photos of them kissing, which many fans were unhappy about. As a result, many have expressed no longer wanting to support the reggaeton artist.

Bad Bunny addressed those fans. "I do music for the people that love me. When I read comments that say, 'Bad Bunny, now I’m not going to listen to your music,' that’s fine," he said. "If you don’t want to listen to my music anymore that’s OK. That’s fine, someone will like it. I do music for who wants to listen to me and for who wants to connect with me. If you don’t like what I’m doing I’m not going to do something else for you to like it. If you don’t like it, well brother, there are plenty of artists out there, and perhaps you’ll find someone you’ll like. Someone is going to like what I’m doing and those are the people I’m singing to."
