Calico Wallpaper, the home brand that released a collaboration with Daniel Arsham back in July 2020, has now tapped four designers to create the ultimate wall coverings. Teaming up with Ini Archibong, Dimorestudio, Sabine Marcelis and Neri&Hu, the Brooklyn-based label has launched the "Dawn" collection with proceeds donated to international organizations.

The new range is a continuation of Calico's previous "Aurora" designs. Conceptualized and made throughout the pandemic, the "Dawn" lineup aims to spark hope and creativity for all. "We laid the foundation for Calico Wallpaper during Hurricane Sandy in 2013. Though different from the present moment in so many ways, that time of uncertainty left us stuck in our Brooklyn home, looking for creative outlets to provide solace and ignite our imaginations," the brand's co-founder Rachel Cope explains. "We want to remind the global design community — and everyone it touches — that the crises of today will also pass."

Each collaborating designer has selected a unique set of colors. Ini Archibong has worked with a blend of aquamarine blue inspired by Lake Neuchatel in his hometown, while Dimorestudio aimed to create a warm feeling with muted hues. Sabine Marcelis opted for a vivid ombré theme reminiscent of a beautiful sunset, and Neri&Hu looked to a lemon yellow and angel blue.
