Fast Company has launched its second annual Queer 50 list, a roundup of notable women and non-binary LGBTQ+ leaders in business, technology, media and entertainment. Created in partnership with Lesbians Who Tech & Allies, a collective of queer, non-binary and trans women working in tech, Fast Company took several criteria into account when selecting this year's Queer 50: the scope of each person's business, the impact of their contributions and their advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community.

Recognized as number one on this year's list is Alicia Garza, co-creator of the Black Lives Matter movement and founder of advocacy and social engagement organization Black Futures Lab. In tech, Reddit COO Jen Wong and Her CEO Robyn Exton are named alongside Tara Bunch, global head of operations at Airbnb, and Alex Hanna, Google's senior research scientist. Verging into the realms of entertainment and pop culture, other notable honorees include YouTube personality JoJo Siwa, actor Lena Waithe and musician Janelle Monáe.

Head to Fast Company to check out the full 2021 Queer 50 list.
