Meet Oromoon, the Latest Astrologically-Informed Dating App

While we saw a period-tracking service of similar nature back in November 2020, a new astrology-based online dating app is set to make its debut. Dubbed Oromoon, it provides a space for all to "elevate confidence and spirituality in an age of uncertainty," as shared in a press release.

Essentially, the app is a dating platform that pairs like-minded users based on an analysis of various aspects such as their personal horoscope, birth chart, synastry and composite charts. Matches are completed based on research and the practical experience of Oromoon's astrologers.

"With an over-stimulated dating scene, it dawned on me that curiosity and mindfulness were the keys to unlocking the best relationships, beginning with the one with ourselves," Oromoon's CEO Stephanie Whaley comments on the forthcoming launch. The app was conceptualized after the Latinx astrologer noticed that the difference in personalities and communication styles can impact emotional wellbeing.
