Phillips is presenting an online auction titled "My Kawaii Valentine" to celebrate the season of love. The curated gift guide serves to highlight the public's passion for pop art in a series of NFTs and prints by in-demand artists.

The highlight of the sale includes Drowning in Love, the world's first NFT generated by real-life auction data. Virtual artist MonoC incorporates a minimum of 100,000 data points to drive algorithms rendering the video -- meaning that how well each lot performs directly impacts the final outcome. The NFT is also accompanied by music developed in a similar fashion, created in collaboration with Hong Kong composer Terrence Ma (T-Ma). Other notable pieces include Her Body is Metal by digital artist Maciej Kuciara and Love, Me by Bangkok-based illustrator Lili Tae

Drowning In Love will premiere as a live telecast on Phillip's website with an opening bid of $1000 HKD (approximately $128 USD). The auction is now available online and will close on 22 February at 6 p.m. HKT.
