There is no way this is under $100K: Corvette Z06



When I say world class, I mean world class. This car would make Colin Kaepernick stand up in allegiance all jokes aside the Chevy Corvette and especially in this Z06 form is scary good a milestone that combines all the lesson learned in past Corvette’s to make way to one of the most affordable supercars available to man. I hate to break to everyone but this car is not even in ZR1 form, designed for the track the Z06 was meant to compete against, well after a quick ride ANYTHING. What makes this car special and how is the corvette racing roots infused into the dynamic of a production vehicle let’s start of on what the Zeta Sies was made for:



Suspension “THE ALPHA”:
When your meant to go around circuits at high speeds, the rubber matters and a taste of Michelin Cups on the feet with 285 up front and 335 out back can pay dividends early. To make life worst for any car maker pitching a 200K plus price tag for an entry with a vehicle with such performance it's lower than the C7 because of the tires and the wheels a lightweight aluminum, the cus de gras comes in the body a new front splitter with winglets, and adjustable spoiler forcibly vacuum the car to the ground for maximum maneuverability. What does this translate to 1.2 lateral g, and to date some of the fastest track times on any track you want of your choosing? It all makes sense when you’re pushing over 440lb of downforce on this body of vehicle



  


Power:
So just with the chassis alone would bring you some pretty incredible performance numbers but if you got an LT4, that’s the 6.2L V8 from Chevy, coupled with GM’s quick shifting 8-speed trans added a little thing to the top if your engine that charges ...well you get 650hp and 650lb torque Houston, there is a big problem because unless you live on the track, power is not really accessible at all times, but for the time you decide to make a run for the track you’ll know these few things 2.95 to 60 and a ¼ mile at 127 mph and that’s with the aero downforce that makes you go slower, it helps that you have Brembos to stop you as well 99.6 feet from 60.



   



Interior - Living:
Dated I think not, plastic not no more, is this world class no but much better and much more livable to match with the exterior and performance improvements brought to the table. The offerings include 3 trim levels that can satisfy the needs for those who really want to track it or those that want to have a little more GT in the there drive. The new driver-focused interior with the infotainment tilted to the driver's side and the small touch spaceship tricks help to make the Z06 a livable place. If there is one qualm it has to be the cockpit is truly a cockpit, Chevy you didn’t need a height requirement to allow people to drive this thing did ya… Now the standard in performance has heated and cooled seats, dual climate control, available napa leather, heads up display, 4g hotspot, cameras that shoot your parking and your driving hello how are you did you run my credit yet to the dealer at hand.



  



  

In summary, though we have heard of all the overheating issues, even with that in mind there is a still a pull for this car. If you just spent a million on a 918 spyder beware,I know they don't cross shop these things but a quick tune and Merica will be right on your back. The car truly gives the average guy a chance, this car embodies the heroes of independence day a shot to take out the aliens.
