CARRERA PANAMERICA STRIKES AGAIN: 2017 PORSHE PANAMERA

If the days of future pasts were to reflect what Porshe has done in seemingly a short amount of time the brand known for it’s small nimble sports coupes has transferred that knowledge with the help of its funding operator to sports cross over SUV, CUV, and the first coming of its splash of coming out of a niche brand the Panamera. The name in the title describes what the background was is in the name Panamera the vehicle that has brought Porshe grand respect across the world as a player in the Luxury Sedan Market. The name came from a an endurance race that took place over an 1800 mile span on the Mexican coastline call the panamericana. The car used for this race was the Porshe Carrera, the race not only tested the speed but the endurance of a vehicle over a long span, hence the merger of the name to form the Porshe Panamera. See Before Tesla’s where a car that turned heads on the street there was another sedan with a hatch that made you look and to this day has the Wow Factor. To some the Porshe in it’s initial entry was great performance but the high roofline hatchback style didn’t suit everybody and the word ugly came to mind. There was no doubting this in it’s release the car could perform in 2010 a world changing car came to surface offering a range of vehicles from a 3.0 liter diesel to 4.8L TT V8 that was meant to match the cars agility (unmatched by sedans in its class) with some speed. The Porshe entry to Global from Niche was a mainstay and the Panamera is to thank for this:

So how do you improve on greatness well the market forces you, competition never stays still so since that time there have been release of new vehicles such that are matching the dynamics and adding speed. The competitors for these purposes are the

BMW M6 Gran Coupe
Mercedes Benx CLS AMG
Audi RS7 Stable mate of the Panamera
Maserati Ghibli (more style than performance)

Add on the normal shaped sedans the M5, E63, XFR-S, RS6 Wagon, GS-F, and CTS V

The market is crowded and the performance levels have been raised. The new king of the throne from a performance perspective the Cadillac CTS V. What can Porshe due to match its dynamics, speed, and power. Presenting the 2017 Panamera, and the death blow to the market for 2017.

You wanted looks you got’em the changes are monumental, the car sits like a picasso painting in and old victorian home in a mountain in switzerland. The interior is clean you will not find many buttons anymore everyone is heading to touch screen and porshe is giving it a stab again. Once again with the revelation of the smartphone one would think that it was only a matter of time I think we are ready for it. It stature oozes of sex appeal and to make life worse for the competitors they added strength and rigidity without added weight. What does that mean ultimately squeak through this nurburgring video and understand the dominance:
