What is synonymous with James Bond, dare I say Aston Martin a brand filled with the cache of luxury sports car, at the peak the red white blue english manufacturers comes the King of GT (luxury sports cars). Aston Martin began its roots in the early 1900’s, founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford the company made headway in the late 1950’s when a movie called Gold Finger was released with the use of Aston Martin’s DB5. By this time the originators Bamford and Martin had given up their stake and passed on the ownership to David Brown LTD. Brown’s leadership ushered in the time of great prosperity at Aston with movies and publicity across the world it was spoken in the same breathe as Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Bentley (Cross town english rival).

Aston’s are known for one thing sound and looks, essentially what all humans are initially looking for. The launch of the Lagonda under Brown’s’ leadership cemented the Aston name for all buyers to come and through the years it has remained constant with its epic designs and sounds different. Let’s take a look at the new platform and the changes that make this the next best thing at Aston:

Lagonda

Aston Martin has now closed off the decade of beauty with the Vanquish the latest iteration show cased the years work but also commerated a new beginnig. The start of this comes with the DB11 a platform meant to take over for the DB9 but was so good they had to name it something else

Bonded Aluminum Body Structure
Dynamic new roof rake to increase vehicle air floor
Near 50/50 Weight Distribution
5.2L V12 Twin Turbo Charged 600 HP 516 LB TQ
8 Speed Shift by Wire Transmission
Multi touch In Dash Infotainment with Gesture Control
Under 3.9 Second 0-60 / 200 MPH Speed Limit

Aston gets technical with two new innovations Curlicue and Aeroblade for the vehicle performance specifically the aerodynamics. To reduce drag vents are incorporated into the wheel arching (buy your tire) this is Curlicue. For additional lift suppot Aston has incorporated vents within the rear bootlid to capture air, if more aerodynamic support is needed an active spoiler is deployed. To put in summary performance to match the looks this car should be able to move and not just up and down but left and right to.

So do the looks get left to the dust after all James Bond does wear a suit so how could we forget that, instead of going over all of the different configurations and materials I screened shot some photos to give you a semblance of what is to come, all we can say is james Bond has a new tongue he can enjoy learning.
