If there was a company that I thought could do away with cars it has to be Mercedes Benz, from the GLA to the Big G Wagon there is a plethora of CUV's, and SUV's to choose from in this part of Stuttgart (5 Total CUV's and SUV's offerings). To set the stage of personally making its mission to lead the mid-level luxury CUV/SUV market Mercedes Benz has added a new treasure to its suitcase in the form of the GLB 35, an SUV that is more boxy in stature, more muscular in form, let's just call this the Conan of small-sized SUV's one that is mimicking a baby G-wagon mixed in with some curves from the GLS. So all of those Mercedes Benz fans who wanted the authentic truck look form welcome in the AMG GLB.

Let's get into the basics that this offers, as an entry-level CUV starting in the high 30's has 3 rows of seats no matter how immaterial the spacing will be, as well Benz's new 2.0 liter 4 cylinder that pushes the realm of power offering 300 hp and 295 lb tq. The entry to the AMG realm pushed the CUV to a 0-60 in the low 5-second realm. Allowing for the powerhouse to bring its power to hit the ground with an 8-speed dual-clutch tranny, other items that make this the best value buy in the Mercedes Benz staple, are the dynamic select modes which give this car a new personality depending on what your mind wants from comfort to race +three in between levels to keep you until you figure out what suits your comfort. Once you're done you can activate the Race Mode which essentially stands for Mercedes Benz launch control and leaves the car to sort out your traction dipping the right foot surges you to 5.1 second time to 60 but more than that your in a Mercedes Benz that can actually be afforded by the average Joe and fit a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and one toddler).

Suspension wise is where the value comes into full play 4Matic AWD as standard with the 3 stages ESP. from a stable mode for those local errands to a highly dynamic mode meant for you to appreciate the 50/50 weight distribution, for conditions were needed the smart 4ETS use brake interventions to make sure you don't slip in slide in wet conditions. The AMG is no fluky badge, in THIS case, redesigned steering knuckles and transverse control arms at the front axle, and the subframe and rear axle allow for small inputs but a direct response. If you want a reason for the AMG more than the speed it's these functions and word has it this is not the final AMG iteration.

Infotainment remains the same where you can access the MBUX infotainment which specific displays include a Classic, Sport, and Supersport which also has accessibility for changes to the controls from the Multifunction sports steering wheel. This is a top rate international vehicle, there is no doubt this is the best of the pack though probably won't be the best of the GLB line up but if good enough is a saying let this picture of the GLB play the backdrop.
