Lamborghini Huracan EVO in the Flesh - 2020

When making an update sometimes tasteful editions are better than well sorry GM a Camaro like overall for the Calendar year of 2019. A couple of cars come to mind for tasteful updates to the line-up, the Jaguar XF update from 2010 to 2011 is one, the recent Mercedes Benz S-Class Update adding bigger vents to the front from 2017 to 2018, Ford Mustang though at first I hated it but 2017 to 2018 looks like a job pretty well done. So Lambo is up to bat with its highly successful Huracan model, as you know we love to buy the updated cars do to some of our engineering backgrounds we understand what happens upon the first release and that is usually owners dealing with the little quirks that were missed during design release (Hey we're all human after all).

Introducing the EVOLUTION of the Huracan in it's latest form boasting the slight adjustments to exterior perfection
  • Rear High Mounted Exhaust Tail Pipes
  • New Front Splitter/Bumper with adaptive air ducts and Countach inspired Bonnet
  • Side Skirts Air Ducts
  • 20 in Aesir Rims
  • 8.4 Touch Screen Infotainment - "This is huge"
  • Carbon Skin available or the first time

I'll save the performance numbers for the bottom of this quick overview. That said the EVO bridges the gap in between the entry model Huracan and the Performante bringing the best of both into one car and I would definitely say this is my preferred model. Comfort/Plus Track Performance that is made possible by the following key additions to the suspension work. A key number comes in the realm of the All-Wheel Steering which adds to the cornering performance and nimbleness of the Huracan which wasn't a bad performer in the base model but this brings it close to the Performante which doesn't offer these features. Magnetorheological and Electronic Power Steering assists with dare I see GT like experience over rougher terrain. Not frequently do you see a car that bridges the gap between comfortability and track speed the Huracan is not compared to but acts like the Porshe Turbo S and Chevy Corvette ZR1.

When you have an update you don't change out what is already good and that comes in the form of the 7 Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission - and the well-acclaimed Lambo tuned V10 engine. The Screamer is still there but what I want to highlight are the slight performance tunes which all point to the changes to the exhaust systems. The bump in horsepower moves the Lambo up to 631 HP with 443 LB-FT of torque, per Lambo this V10 has been revised for additional performance with optimized fluid dynamics which improves responsiveness. The top speed is 201 MPH which I doubt is true, I've seen Huracans hit 205 MPH and this car boasts improved Aerodynamics. The key sticking points are still there with the modernization updates this car reaches the epitome of success and just builds upon it. With all the talk of the Corvette 2020, this Lambo lives in Picasso rarely seen and just special when you drive it. We can live in a world with both, but for me, the Picasso has taken the cake.
