Ford Mustangs on Mt. Rushmore - Bullitt, Roush Stage 3, and Shelby GT-H ......

If you think that the Porshe 911 group were the only team that has a mix of product offerings for one car you would be severely wrong. Dodge, and now Ford want to join in on the fun for all the darn options you have for one car. In the case of Ford, it's quite simple to see that the Mustang from a car perspective is the pride and joy, the only car that doesn't have a pick up,suv, cuv in the description name that has not been put on the chopping block from future production...

The mustang has a history one that stretches back to the early 1960s and WWII fighters. That's right this car really has something in common with U.S. fighter jets meant to destroy its opposition. The founder of this Mustang business was a gentleman by the name of John Najjar, in 1961 him and co-designer Phillip T. Clark made the 1st prototype that would start the history of Mustangs that we see on the road. From the 1960s until now bar none when it comes to the Ford line up and American Muscle or in current state American's Sports Car this has been in the talks and hearts of many along with the Corvette, and in my opinion the Chevy Camaro.

The current body style 6th gen Mustang has benefited a lot from the Aston Martin/Jaguar ownership. The design definitely punches above it's intended weight, with clean but aggressive styling, new engine availability in the form of 2.0 Ecoboost 4 Cylinder, a 5.0L Coyote or 5.2L Flat Plane V8, and in current state a 10 Speed, 6 Speed Manual, or dual-clutch 7 speed (GT-500) we can all bow down and say God Bless America. So how much more does the Mustang group need to offer, well along with the long menu there is a couple of more players that extend the Mustang to out worldly levels. If the GT350 at 500+ HP or the upcoming GT500 reportedly hooking up to 700+ HP a 5.2k supercharged engine wont sway you let's pay our respects to the contributing tuners at Roush, and Shelby cause they have a few things to add. The GT500 has not been released but there already 700+ HP available options so let's talk about them which all offer Ford warranties, Let's look at the 1st:

Carroll Shelby GT-H Premium 700 HP + unknown  - $95K+:
The Additions are as simple as you would think for a naturally aspirated car throw in a Supercharger from Ford on to the already powerful 5.0L Coyote and your at 700+ HP. Here goes my issue with the Shelby GT-H Mustang they don't tell you what the HP actually is nor the torque so it could be 790 HP or 701 HP who knows but for some they may not care. Included with these improvements is the Shelby badging all over the place, will highlight what makes this car $30 to $40K over a well equipped 10 Speed GT in the bullets. They don't highlight the details of what's happening in the cornering either will save that for the Roush which gives the detail.

Roush Stage 3 710 HP and 610 LB TQ $66K :
This is my favorite kit of the litter for aftermarket offerings that uses the 5.0L V8 Coyote. I got the specs here 710 HP and 610 LB TQ via a Rouscharged TVS 2650 Supercharger. This car also highlights it's specialty of being a sports car tuned by Jack Roush Jr. With its 3-way adjustable coil-over suspension pushing 1.07 G around a track or highway corner of your choice. Braced for action the car means business with the Continental Extremecontact sports tires on 20-inch wheels. Just to show that there were some technical advancements on the car they throw in an app for your phone  that allows you to adjust the Exhaust levels from Stealth to Race Mode.  No spec's on 0-60 but with 700 HP plus this is under 3.5 second car easy and now we get the additions that make this model $67K, challenger Hellcats beware there is a competitor from Ford right now.
  • 710-horsepower ROUSHcharged TVS 2650 Supercharger Package, Quicksilver Cast 20-Inch Wheels with Continental ExtremeContact™ Sport Tires, Performance 1-Way Coilover Suspension System (Height Adjustable), Aero Corner Pockets, High Flow-Upper Grille with Iconic "3" Badge, High Flow Lower Opening, Front Chin Spoiler with Wheel Shrouds, Hood Heat Extractors, Body Side Scoop, Hockey Stripe Graphic with Accent "ROUSH" Fender Badges, "ROUSHcharged" Hood Graphic
  • Rear Blackout Panel with "ROUSH" Badging, Body-Colored Rear Decklid Spoiler, Rear Valance Aero Foils
"ROUSH" Front Windshield Banner, Stage 3 Serialized Engine Bay Plaque,"ROUSH" License Plate and Frame, Hood Strut Lift Assist, ROUSH Stage 3 Serialized Dash Plaque,"ROUSH" Design Instrument Gauge Cluster, "ROUSH" Embroidered Floor Mats, "ROUSH" Illuminated Door Sill Plates,

What additions need to be added nothing at all this is the star of the show at this price.
