Grand Pa is still kicking, and so are the millennials are beginning there shift from sports cars to large cars or SUV's to fit either kids or animals, or both.  This time around with the CUV's owning the command chambers in the market right now, we look at a few brands that are coming late to the party or don't have the fan fair of premium name holders such as Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, and Benz. The other reason is most of these cars are missing the breadth of the line up that includes a higher powered V8 and a sloth of models to complete there each missing a small something to get them over the hump and into the premium luxury vehicle hunting ground.

The Depends have come on and these are the guys you need to stick with to avoid someone who cares for you sticking you in a nursery home. What are the criteria because I just include the big sales makers in this draft
  1. Price Point under $67K
  2. 0-60 Under 6 Seconds
  3. Over 200 inches long
Cadillac CT6 Sport - 2019  - Price $66K
If anyone knows we our Cadillac lovers and believers but similar to sports fans of the Detroit Lions it has been a long decade waiting for the turnaround. They get oh so close but then the turn happens usually in the 4th quarter and you got to wonder why Matt Stafford has not demanded a trade. Well back to the good drives that they have had, not small or insignificant this first down landed with the CT6 brings back the combination of Caddie as a luxury brand that has some sporty pretensions. I would not be argued to say this is the sportiest of the quad affiliates, boasting a suspension that makes you feels like your in the lighter CTS. The engine nothing to scoff 404 HP from the Twin Turbo V, with a newly acquired 10-speed suspension. The exterior in my opinion greatly improved but the interior remains the same and that is the pitfall that separates this car from the 2nd tier luxo barge that Cadillac has retained. If not for the plastic around the infotainment system and some of the borrowed bin material from lower costs GM products this would be in contention with the S-Class as a talking point which it is, but sitting in it one would really question the value.
  • 3.0 TT V6 404 HP 400 LB TQ - 0-60: 5.3 sec. - AWD
  • 10.2 Infotainment system touch screen easy to use
  • Magnetic Ride Control  - .86g lateral acceleration
  • Headroom: 40.1/Front 38/Rear - Legroom: 42.3/ Front 40.4/ Rear
  • Longest but lightest of the heavyweight bunch 4,426 LB

KIA 900 - 2019  - Price $59K
How things change over the years Kia is slam dunking in all angles its only a matter of time before the consumers realize what the heck is going on. This latest entry is a true bargain burner for the price of an E-Class, amazing looks and a bit more sporty than the Genesis G90 the KIA represents a direct departure from 10 years ago and has entered the Luury market the only question can Genesis and Kia coexist to me the plan is to make a Mercedes and BMW within one company and things are shaping up well, call this rebadging at it's greatest, GM take head on this one.
  • 3.3 TT V6 365 HP 376 LB TQ - 0-60: 5.7 sec. - RWD
  • Mix of classic and new luxury in a good way
  • Multi-link suspension
  • Headroom: 41.1/Front 38/Rear - Legroom: 45.7/ Front 36.6/ Rear
  • Heavyweight 4,622 LB the most sound deadened vehicle of the bunch

Lincoln Continental 3.0TT - 2019  - Price $60K
The Continental and Caddy battle for the sexiest of the bunch the interior truly upgraded to the highest quality from an American brand, and the engine very promising. If cruising in silence is your thing this Lincoln takes the cake, and the riskiest futuristic design. Let me say this again through in the 5.0L V8 in this thing you're going to have a handful of car to handle. This is an incredible opportunity to get a first step in the luxury market and at this price point Lincoln has sealed the deal with a few minor upgrades needed in the interior and the 5.0L V8 to take you home. Lincoln welcome back.
  • 3.0 TT V6 400 HP 400 LB TQ - 0-60: 5.4 sec. - AWD
  • Classic American luxury which is not the slightest demerit, matter fact the highest compliment
  • Smart infotainment smallest screen but lots of
  • Headroom: 39.3/Front 37.7/Rear - Legroom: 41.3/ Front 44.4/ Rear
  • Heavyweight 4,523 LB - this is the luxury vehicle of the pack

Volvo S90 3.0TT - 2019 - Price $60K
Europower strikes again and a low costs the S90 is in the ball game and we know how Swedish make the most with less. The S90 is a fantastic vehicle pushing a 201 overall dimensional length this car makes sense in all ways. The finishing touches make this car special but not one that screams out at you. The interior second most techy next to Tesla, it brings a bit more futuristic vs traditional. The attraction is real for the Volvo which boasts all the tech aids you could want from blind spot monitoring, lane assist, and self driving fixtures that all but the Kia have has features in there vehicle. If you wish to strike accord and suprise folks the Volvo is the way to go. GM should've kept these guys.
  • 2.0 TT V6 316 HP 295 LB TQ - 0-60: 5.9 sec. - AWD
  • The Most modern interior or should I say tesla like. The infotainment can be a bit laggy
  • Headroom: 37.8/Front 37.8/Rear - Legroom: 42.2/ Front 40.4/ Rear
  • Heavyweight 4,135 LB - this is the lightweight of the pack 2nd to sportiness next to the Caddy
