Lambo Huracan Perfomante Goes Bald...

See there a lot of looks when it comes to cars, some look good in different colours, or with different add-ons. Similar to humans we like to have more, like more hair, more muscle, more money, however, there is a time when going bald is a benefit. Welcome to the convertible (Bald of the top) and the drop as they call it have seemed to go away for auto builders as the focus has been 4 x 4's that can't go off-road go figure. There lies a compromise to going bald, the rain reaches your scalp quicker, no cushion for your pillow, but in this perfomante's case the problem comes with performance. See you need to have a hard top to truly push cars to life-impacting speeds, without the top things could happen such as hitting a bump and accidentally self ejecting yourself, or getting hit with a piece of rock.  Yes going bald is dangerous kinda of feels like a half-hearted bike ride except you'll still have your legs in an accident but the Lambo pulls this off very well.

Matter fact when it comes to drop tops this is probably the only vehicle outside of the Porshe Turbo S, and Corvette Z06 that loses little of its performance due to losing the top. When we talk numbers sit down and hold yourself as the numbers are truly remarkable for a naturally aspirated 5.2L V10

640 HP AWD
442 LB TQ
0-60: 3.1 Seconds
Top Speed: 202 MPH
Lateral G: 1.10
Weight: 3322lb

Those numbers equate to a powerful beast, this Lambo is more performance than show a rarity for Lambo. The things that make it special the ALA system from Lamborghini a performance-oriented PC that focuses on extracting the most from the double wishbone 4 wheel drive system. ALA stands for Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva this system is meant to make the 3300lb vehicle extract more than 1.1g of cornering force, built with purpose all of the flaps and spoilers play an important role to the dynamics an example of this of what happens as you steer into chicane while passing a Porshe 918 Spyder the electronically actuated flaps on the front splitter, this combined with vectoring from the rear wing which applies downforce to individual wheels to help the vehicle rotate. Air flow through the spoiler who would've thunk it, this for all intensive purposes put the Lambo in the ballpark of one of the few vehicles that can boast an under 7 min mark at the German Nurburgring Ring, 6:52 to be exact.

Naturale, I make that statement quite a bit nothing would be finished without a good transmission thanks to the merger with VW they're able to utilize the best from its sisters and brothers from Porshe, and Audi. 7 Speed Dual Clutch may be the best in the game, Audi R8 will share this relationship by pushing the  motorbikes to a question mark one may wonder will a stock 1000 liter put up a good fight as you will not get away from this Huracan unless you have an H2 from a rolling start through the 1/2 mile. Lamborghini needed a hit that was affordable the Huracan entry for Lambo could be a tail of times to come givem your best from the get-go, choosing this vs the Aventador merely comes to size to me this is the best in the range and maybe the best Lambo ever made. At hypercar performance for 300K while the base model is at 200K there is no closer you could get to sticking with a Bugatti Chiron.

To all the turbo plus electrically assisted masterpieces, Lambo shows you how to do it the old school way, the way us enthusiasts like it, welcome to the bald Huracan.
