Mclaren Senna - I Hope it's true it's on the inside's that count

El Mclaren has been on a tear from its release of the P1 the hammer was thrown and any supercar manufacturer from Italy to Germany had to take notice of the magical powers that now encompassed this world track star. Subsequent releases from Mclaren included the 650S the midpriced sweetheart and the 570S a Porshe 911 turbo S competitor. What past couple of years it has been and then as if the oven wasn't already hot enough they truly blew out the water the GT/HyperCar Spectrum with the 720S. The 720S a world-class show stopper talking to your inside's the design language talking to your outsides. One Big problem why I haven't I started to talk about the Senna yet, well perhaps the story of the swan that get's better as the years go by come to my mind......

Mclaren Design over functionality but please help me understand this, some say should've just refreshed the P1....

All that subjective ramble aside the car has to be a barn burner. Let's look at the most determining features that give you an inkling of a performance machine ...

Weight: 2,641lb
Engine: 4.0L V8 789 HP and 590 lb ft torque

What more need we say stick in a transmission that can go from 1st to 2nd and you have a gold mine. In my rant I failed to mention that this was a specialized car not meant for high production volumes like the 720S or 650S but a track superstar ala the Dodge Viper ACR. Design aside this thing doesn't care what your take is on looks, it goal to kick the crap out of you on the track...that any car lover can respect.  Read all about the press release the goal to be the best road legal track car made in the face of this earth.

Mclaren actually admits to its Woes from a design standpoint the silhouette is purposely fragmented in pursuit of absolute performance. One key characteristic is the extensive use of air vents from the front to the rear there is not one spot where you will not find an opening for an intake or a vent. If your tracking one of the key things to be cognizant of is cooling, how do you draw high temperatures away from your radiator with a louver ensuring that directs airflow away from it. Even the exhausts are paid attention to the pipes positioned in a way so that the gas  doesn't affect rear wing airflow. The dual clutch ensures that the output is controllable and performance achievable.
The Raceactive (RCC II) chassis control hydraulic suspension, which also features the all but needed double wishbone suspension.

The boys from Woking strike again for the last 30 years they have been building magic let's see what this new trick has in store, this should be the fastest track car in the history of automobiles.

All these things and add the most powerful 4.0L in Mclaren history you have yourself a superstar.
