First off before I begin,  remember the GM rebadging that we are used to, forget about this is all said and hopefully never done again. As most car companies in the last 6 years, the operation competition has come into full swarm all vehicle levels are under attack and if your next model isn't your best effort your more than likely gonna be knocked out of the park. Luckily for the motor company, GM has two offerings meant to attack your family needs the entry level CUV meant to make your minivan obsolete if you want a cool factor than the luxury line the Buick meant to be a bit more upscale but not as badge friendly as let's say a Mercedes Benz think of Charleston, South Carolina vs Los Angeles soccer Mom.

Let's start with the sporty Traverse if you wanted the Tahoe, or were prepping for a minivan this car takes the cake as it offers 8 passenger seating and now with more sculpted sportier lines. If you think I am going to go over 0-60 numbers on this vehicle, I am sorry I cannot it's not meant for that but will get into its passing ability within the next paragraph.

This vs Competitors: Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, and Toyota Highlander

The storage in this car would drive Narco's crazy with a best in class cargo volume of 98.2 Cubic Feet, Hidden underfloor cargo storage totalling 3.2 Cubic Feet and a truck like Center console with 23 storage spots throughout the vehicle. You want the technology Mylink with capabilities for Apple Car Play, USB charging in three rows, and the inevitable smart slide technology for those kids that need to squeeze through the backseat for those long-distance trips. 12-volt power outlet, and dedicated storage for your cell phones. If you want to get that charge no worries the wireless device charging does incredible tricks for the kids as they move about the cabin. In one paragraph I have given all the yin and yang for the Traverse the ultimate family hauler and from a design perspective the sexiest of the pack. To top it off when the window mirrors have the dog on the outside you can always look at your rear view camera to make things magical with a camera that's showing you everything out of the backside.

Engine Specs:
Engine: 3.6L V6
Transmission: 9 Speed
0-60: 7 Seconds

To Charleston, SC we go in the Enclave, totally updated for 2018 this car doesn't resemble anything in the stable at Chevy and we are proud of this..Go show them. Buick Enclave e Avenir in top trim resembles a coupe-like CUV, the lines distinctively make a statement and dare I say a daring Buick like that found in the Japanese brands lately. This car is well put together, LED tails and fronts accentuate the something a little more elegant feeling. The suspension meant to harness the greater things real-time damping with the CDC system is an extension of the magnetic ride control.

You want the cool stuff cause I am not gonna go over the normal brew ha - safety this, auto tail gate that ...
  • So it smells in the car no problem diaper man....this car has an Ionizer to eliminate odors
  • Twin Clutch rear differential with intelligent mode
  • Rear Seat reminder alerts that the second row are opened
  • Standard 4G LTE, which means the movies don't stope
  • Heated 1st row and 2nd row seatings
  • Full Speed Control - Cruise
  • 6 USB ports - 8 in diagonal Buick infotainment
  • Tri Zone Cooling
This is one thing the enclave and the traverse share the platform which is still a 3.6L V6 with the 9 Speed Transmission. Other than that round up the kids PF Chang's after your sunday services.
