Merica Releases That You need to look out for: Muscle Car's Last Run

admin   Fri, 10 Nov 2017  MACHEENE | Report Abuse Merica Releases That You need to look out for: Muscle Car's Last Run

This week a couple more fire-breathing releases look like they will hit a dealership near you....When I mean Horse Power I literally there sticking horses in these engines to the tune of + 700HP, with over 550lb of torque. The reason for the article I am pretty sure someone dropped the ball on Chevy and leaked a photo of the long awaited ZR-1...this has long been Chevy's halo car which appears to be coming to an end with the new rear mounted engine Zora platform coming into play....

Take a peek at these car and driver magazine photos straight from Dubai (Don't go crazy with comments), looks like this car will play many different roles.

Corvette ZR1

Spec's are released allegedly:
750 HP 668  LB TQ
3 seconds quicker around Milford
Heat Exchangers and vents all around

The looks are a bit standoffish but Dodge did a similar treatment to the Dodge Viper ACR so in comparison not as bad.

Dodge Challenger: Wide Body Hellcat - The way it should've came

This sick deign possibly a final street rendition of the Hellcat introduces the last play to market for the muscle car look. The interior's retro feel, and engine, plus the final tipping point being big tires which may have the car rival the drag heavy ZR1 expect the 1/4 mile times to dip into the low 11's high - 10's more consistently and in my mind leaves as the last true looking muscle car on the market. This is popular collectable buy and hold is the label here for car affecionados.

Spec's are released allegedly:
707 HP 650  LB TQ
11.0 Sec. 1/4 mile
3.5 Second 0-60
Not meant for the track but should boast .98g lateral acceleration with bigger tires

GT500 Mustang

Can't leave Henry out of this the Ford brand has a redesigned front end to the Mustang and the rumours are spilling for one car that should break the HP wars until its end how about the GT500....what to expect I think it'll have 800HP knowing Ford. The current chassis of the GT350 should do just fine but don't expect anything to touch the new Corvette especially with the larger 2.6 cubic blower, but this should be a fun match through the 1/4 mile.

No Spec's are released but my crystal ball says this will match the Corvette up until the 1/4 mile where the Vette will pull away:
850 HP
10.8 Sec. 1/4 mile
3.5 Second 0-60
