Alpha is so good we are doing an article twice on it...The Giulia rehash 

We like exclusivity and individuality anything that doesn't look like a Mercedes Benz C Class or BMW 3 Series is a welcomed party in my eyes. The Giulia has now been released for over a year the reviews and comparisons to the big players have been done, in this regard, I would like to highlight the top contender from an all around performer from our perspective. Capping the Ferrari bloodline, high revving turbo is a beautiful design reminiscence of a 3 series in profile with a much more distinguished face that brings elegance it disassociates itself away from the hard edge 3 Series, Cadillac ATS-V and removes itself from the soft touches of the C63 AMG-S/Audi RS4, Jag XE-SVR has not been released but we can say judging from the project X it may be in your face jaguar once again. A few things to recognize before the electric cars take over there maybe a few extra players in the ultimate performance sedan market which include's Hyundai/Kia Stinger, and don't hold your breathe but Volvo has the Polestar S60 which may get a volume player that you can actually buy....Do I hear a Porsche coming, a baby Porsche to the Panamera ..... don't bat your eyes but the Porshe group has been racking in the money with it's less the mainstream vehicles and why not sharpen the sword a bit into the BMW's throat. 

Okay so we know the room is crowded but right now only car holds the crown ... tell BMW and Mercedes to hold off on their updates

Interior - Biggest Competitor AMG-S 
When I said the competition was thick I really meant that and by all implications, this is a war of taste. What do you like, from the drive in the Giulia it's very easy to see that this car checks the boxes in all categories. The S-Class is a terrific vehicle inside but the cheapened slightly C-Class leads the pack but doesn't stretch itself out beyond the limits The Giulia has nice touches, a nod to Ferrari in some places and yes some Chrysler the infotainment system makes for a mesh of Italian elegance and American ease which fits nicely. The Mercedes can be over the top, the IPAD sticking out doesn't do it any favors.

Road Feel Dynamics - Biggest Competitor M3 
The M3 is still the handling dynamo light on its feet but the same old outside that were use to seeing for the last 100 years. Yet still it impresses the performance is way over the top and nowhere near 445 hp, this is an upper 490 to 500hp car BMW just stop it, and it moves through the roads with relative ease. With that said the Alpha matches this with a more europhic external tone and will get to that in a second. 

Track Car - ATS V 
This American has been applauded for the past couple of years, the American has been mistaking for the E46 M3, the American needs a transmission (10 speed PLEASE) and a Q update and it will own the segment. I am biased Caddy but the Alpha can keep up with the roller coaster in the twisties and on a straight will soon pitch enough grunt to overpass. Winner Alpha just cause its ITALIANOOO....

Power - AMG S, RS4 
Rarely does a 4WD car lose to a rear wheel drive car but in automatic mode you can get your feet to the ground and get running. The AMG S engine sound is the best along with the upcoming RS4 4.0L V8. While the AMG S packs the symphony of a 60 ft baritone, the Giulia QV packs the appreciation of a  trumpet and saxophone on a high note, its sounds naturally aspirated and has taken the high pitch F1 growl found in its older richer cousin Ferrari by the way this is the V8 Ferrari chopped off in a straight this should pull away. 

Exclusivity - The winner is the Alpha no others can be in the discussion until the JAG XE SVR is released.

So I was looking at getting one of these for a long term on lease, as for a price point I don't care about list these can get into the low 70's with the automatic. The AMG-S is in the 90's the BMW upper 70's without a doubt the Giulia is the winner clear cut take a picture and get exclusive. Welcome Alpha the games have just begun (TESLA please wait a couple of years before taking away gas).......
