Back in the early nineties there were three must-have a family and house in a 3 row SUV. As things have changed due to environmental constraints we now have an eco-friendly push and for some that means downsizing the family the house and the SUV into a CUV. Well if anyone knows the United States of trump they don't cater to change very well and sometimes fight it with an iron fist. So Ford has decided to bring missiles to the Gun fight by using alternate materials to give you the same big size without hurting Mother Nature with high fuel costs. I would like to welcome you to the 2018 Ford Expedition and all aluminum three row bring you back to the 90s without an OSHA recordable.



  

So to think back to these Wonder Years is to pay respects to what America does best. See in the world of the German gauntlet of performance, the Asian luxury and Technology the US has this sweet spot. See there are no players in the big SUV Market if you really look at it. With the big roads houses and just a propensity to do big things America lead in the SUV and truck market, the others can just play catch-up. So if you think Ford did this on their own you would be wrong see there is a younger brother that's a damn the Eco Legends I'm staying big and brash come kiss my asterisk ...



As America was essentially competing against itself the only thing you could find was family Wars and the Chevy Tahoe currently leads the way. Despite all the greenhouse gas, America has an insatiable need for big SUVs the landscape calls for it the Tahoe represents the top of the mountain "there where you want to be an SUV sales" and hence why a lot of competitors are preparing bigger vehicles to reach the 4 door market. Evidence of this are the ever growing germans from the GL, Q7, and the predicted completion of the X7. Even the fast sports car companies are thinking of making headwinds into the market including a Bentley Bentyaga, Lamborghini Urus, and who knows a Ferrari, Mclaren to boot. They can all bring a big truck to the marketplace with their current platforms. Uno problemo none of these vehicles can match the sheer size of the Tahoe...now since the Tahoe is lonely and comfortable we have to stir thing up and bring back the reason for this article. If Chevy is the BMW of the marketplace than Ford is the Mercedes and you can't let the American BMW stay on its own. Design: 
Trying to make an SUV sexy is one of the toughest things to do but lately Porshe, Jag, and BMW in sports trim have made some in-roads. The Tahoe release was futuristic and caused some waves but this new expedition for such a big vehicle takes the cake. Take a look at the pictures the sleek roof line, the back end that curves instead of brick blocks. The expedition returns in away that families can truly relate to. In addition to the sleek design is the invigorating technologies that make this the best 7 seat cruiser in america. 

Technology: 
You want to hear about the Sync 3, the wifi hotspot, wireless charging, and enough power outlets to be a second house, I'll skip all that and move to the tuck and stow. The car is adaptive with a new technology called Advanced Cargo Management including an adjustable shelf and a hill blocking feature allowing for less movement while getting into difficult situations. To keep the kid's busy look up the first big SUV to be fitted with a Panoramic Vista Roof, please tell the Big Bus to step up its game these views are breathtaking. What about the seating arrangement this car is blessed to have seating adaptations the second row you can it back, older siblings try to give your younger siblings pain by sliding back can't really hurt a thing when you have reclining third-row seating. Drivetrain:
In continued Ford fashion the 3.5 Twin Turbo continues to be the preemptive powerhouse with the 10 speed this merger will deliver better gas mileage and towing capabilities than any of its counterparts. To assist with the towing capacity they created something that all boaters will appreciate a Pro Trailer Backup Assist, which makes backing up as easy as turning a knob.  Liftgates makes putting on the load a much easier job. 


So this car has not been released but this may be the change of a lifetime the new X has been placed and the Tahoe may have its hands full. Here comes the Expedition, an ode to the late 90's the return of the EXPO.....
