So here we go again.... so many articles on SUV's and so many more to talk about here come the Italiano's and there entry into the market the Alfa Romeo Stelvio , this SUV slots right beneath the Porshe Cayenne and BMW X5M competing with the likes of the Porshe Macan, Jaguar F-Pace, and Benz GLC. To the power, Alfa has come Alpha and said do not play around with this entry to the tune of 510 HP V6 Bi-Turbo engine coming from a detuned, decylindered Ferrari V8. So the 2.9 liter V6 you would think would lose some of that emotion but judging by the recent success of the Giulia Press Release there should be nothing lost as a matter fact think of this as the Giulia High.
So the advantage of an SUV is obviously its suspension, height, which play a role in its going over Public Super Market Curbs with no dents and the number of kids with food you can fit in the backseat. Though small 468 CM fits the midstream pack of CUV's the curb weight on this vehicle exhibits the prowess. The name Stelvio comes from the highest mountain pass in Italy, windy roads, and height gets lost when you look at the addition of the Alfa Link suspension which has perfect 50/50 weight distribution, along with torque vectoring, and Q4 all-wheel drive system. Powering the beautiful howling V6 to bring power to the ground is the 8 speed ZF transmission with three different drive modes for your inner old or your inner young. Scared of where the 510hp 8 Speed may take you no worries don't worry there are big Integrated Brake System (IBS) and Ceramic Discs to stop you in case the tesla's autopilot makes a mistake in front of you. The Stelvio is like the Giulia a new benchmark that doesn't compromise performance for capability. When your name yourself Stelvio you better be able to be the omniscient driving machine.
