Need, Not Want: 10 J.Crew Outfits That Have Me Feverishly Adding to Cart

If you're tapped into fashion even just a tiny bit, you'll know how much sartorial power J.Crew holds currently. Even as someone who never really shopped at the more "preppy" retailer till now, I fully understand the newfound hype. You can always find both easy basics that'll get the most wear and standout pieces that'll certainly ring in dozens of compliments. I'll even argue that you don't necessarily have to spend a penny at the store to find it helpful. How? Well, a favorite past-time of mine is looking through the outfits featured in the brand's campaign imagery and on creative director Olympia Gayot's Instagram feed.

Now when I'm scrolling through J.Crew's site, I've found myself mentally creating multiple outfits from the latest selection of new arrivals and best-sellers. And while some outfits can be loosely re-created with what basic I already own, I'm very much tempted to purchase the unique it-buys like the aquatic-inspired jewelry our team can't stop talking about and the woven bags that look like they were made for a summer in the Hamptons.

If you're on the hunt for fresh summer outfits, look no further. From office-ready attire to pretty vacation ensembles, I've got all the bases covered. Feel free to copy each look entirely, or shop any key pieces to style them yourself. Here's to a summer of stellar outfits.

Our editor-at-large Nicole noticed that many of the most stylish fashion folk were pairing their all-white outfits with contrasting black accessories this summer. I had to include an option from J.Crew, and it's pretty darn chic.

Ready to hit the beach in style? It's always fun to play around with one colorful piece and then add neutral accessories so the focus is drawn to the swimsuit. Also, can we just have a moment for the starfish earrings?

Workwear doesn't always have to be simple and neutral. A vibrant jacket like this is perfect for summer, and can easily be balanced with cream and black accessories.

If your goal is to dress like Sofia Richie, this is the outfit for you. The key to making a simple white dress not boring is the accessories, each one included in this 'fit is just perfection.

Once you get your hands on that linen mini-skirt, it's over for anyone else. It does come with a matching top, but I much prefer the more relaxed vibe of it with a T-shirt. It adds a cool and casual element, but the jewelry still keeps the outfit looking elevated.

Doesn't this entire outfit just scream "French girl" to you?

I love the neutral pieces that J.Crew makes, but it's the tasteful pops of color that really win me over.

Don't worry, I've got your night-out look sorted, too. Coordinating the pearl earrings with the pearl bag just ties it all together like a shiny red bow.

Chino shorts can come off a little too preppy or casual, but with the right styling, it can look expensive. Case in point with this outfit.

While I love the look of all-white outfits with touches of black, I have to admit that the look of a bright blue poplin shirt looks just as good. If your vibe is chic yet comfortable, this is the look for you.
