I'm Only Into Flowy Clothes Right Now, and These Are on My List for Spring

Jennifer Camp Forbes  Thu, 24 Mar 2022  Who What Wear

One of the many ways the pandemic has affected my wardrobe is that it left me reaching for comfortable pieces more than ever. For the past couple years, that meant I lived in sweatpants, hoodies, and other lounge-worthy favorites like leggings. As the new season starts, and the pandemic ebbs and flows, I have been transitioning my love of comfort dressing into more elevated, flowy spring clothing.

With this in mind, I have been keeping an eye out for roomy silhouettes in chic, luxe-looking fabrics. While most of the pieces I find are a minimalist nod to ’90s classics, there is a wide variety of flowy pieces that incorporate bohemian details, bold colors, or even maximalist statement prints. As for the pricing? You’d be pleasantly surprised to see how many options there are for under $150.

Ahead, feast your eyes on 30 of the coolest flowy pieces to wear now and well into the seasons to come. Many can easily be mixed and matched.

I am loving this minimalist take on voluminous sleeves.

On reviewer said, "I have been looking for the perfect menswear style trousers and these are it! They are just the right amount of relaxed/flowy but still look very polished."

This can be worn by itself or layered over slouchy pants or a skirt.

Step away from the leggings for a moment with these cool baggy trousers.

The oversize silhouette here is super luxe.

One reviewer called these "staple pieces."

Imagine the movement of this lovely green dress on a breezy spring day.

A boxy white T-shirt is a major must-have no matter the season.

Whether alone or layered, this piece is a great way to look more put together.

Let's talk about this pink color!

These are great for lounging, running errands, or even dressing up with heels.

This oversize button-down with jeans just screams spring.

This long flowy trench is a statement maker.

I want to live in this cozy ribbed dress.

Hello, color-blocked statement piece.

These pants are slouchy yet elevated all at once.

This neutral dress is great for a spring or summer wedding.

Give me all the '90s-inspired green pieces of the season.

What an elegant dress. It looks more expensive than it is.

I'm here for the vacation vibes. It comes in other colors as well.

I live in cardigan dusters, and this cream version is great with everything from jeans to leggings.

I can see this oversize shirtdress worn with strappy sandals or flip-flops depending on the occasion.

A great satin slip skirt always comes in handy.

Love the brown color. Anyone else getting '90s Gwyneth Paltrow vibes? See the matching pants below.

Pair these with the top above or with a basic top for an easy look.

This is definitely an investment piece. The draping is fantastic.

I am all about these fun colors and the whimsical print.

This instantly elevates a pair of jeans. Add nice sandals, and you're good to go.

I did a double take when I saw this black skirt was under $100.

I am picturing this with the cream satin skirt above.

I will always be a sucker for a striped blue shirt or shirtdress.
