Saturday Night Live and CeraVe Want to Put An End to Your Dandruff
info@hypebae.com (Hypebae) Tue, 18 Feb 2025 HypebaeDandruff can be downright frustrating — so much so, that it might make you want to headbang to a metal anthem. This weekend, during Saturday Light Live's 50th Anniversary celebration, CeraVe teamed up with the iconic NBC show to debut a hilarious skit that tackled the woes of a flakey scalp.
Starring Bowen Yang and Sarah Sherman as a grandmother-and-grandson punk rock duo, "Naumore Dandruf," the skit zeroes in on the all-too-familiar frustration of dandruff disrupting not just hair, but band practice. As tensions rise ahead of a crucial gig, the band's dermatologist and trusted drummer, Dustin Portela, steps in with a game-changing solution: he suggests the band try CeraVe's new haircare line to soften their scalp and smooth things over, literally and figuratively.
He surprises Yang and Sherman by revealing that he works as a doctor full-time and leaves them with the knowledge that although CeraVe is known as a skincare brand, it's capable of creating hair products for the scalp because it's actually a part of our largest organ.

The CeraVe "Anti-Dandruff" Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $12 USD and are now available on the brand's website.
