David Koma's Pre-Fall 2025 Collection Is a Masterclass in Texture

While David Koma is stepping into his new role at Blumarine, it's safe to say that things at his eponymous brand are still going stronger than ever. Launching the new Pre-Fall 2025 collection this week, Koma's latest offering is nothing short of a masterclass in texture, silhouette and art.

Blurring the lines between aggression and allure, the collection taps into the designer's insanely sexy vision, oozing confidence and empowerment. Celebrating three legendary Bond girls: Xenia Onatopp, Tiffany Case and May Day, each played by iconic actors of their time. Each character is identified through their own unique aesthetic, with Onatopp showcased through patent croc-effect bodices, thigh-high slits and Ferrari red hues.

Case, meanwhile, is captured through an open-back liquid jersey gown, oversized faux fur and diamonds, while the spirit of May Day is evoked through razor-sharp necklines, structured silhouettes and traditional tailoring. As always, Koma carefully reads the line between hyper-femininity and ferociousness, channeling delicate hints of aggression through a balance of silhouette and fabric.
