Netflix is set to premiere a brand new movie, Moxie, based on Jennifer Mathieu's novel of the same title. Directed by Amy Poehler, the Golden Globe Award-winning actress is also set to star in the film.

Ms. Carter (Poehler) isn't just a regular mom, she's a cool mom. "When I was 16, all I cared about was smashing the patriarchy and burning it all down," she says in the trailer. Inspired by her mother's rebellious past, teenager Vivian (Hadley Robinson) anonymously publishes a feminist underground zine dubbed "Moxie," due to her being fed up with how her school deals with sexual harassment. As a result, Vivian becomes the leader of a revolution and befriends fellow feminists who all work together to dismantle sexist norms.

Moxie will debut on March 3 exclusively on Netflix.
