For the Spring/Summer 2021 season, Virgil Abloh took the digital route to present his latest Off-White™ collection titled "Adam is Eve." Models showcased the founder and creative director's designs at a globally-interconnected digital event dubbed "Imaginary TV."

The custom-built interface "captures a universal approach to creativity by promoting inclusivity and pushing the envelope forward in terms of how the industry, consumers and fans alike interact with one another," as per a press release. Just like a classic television set, the brand's virtual landscape provides a variety of channels and networks, each representing a different concept inspired by the collection. Highlighted by a range of installations and performances, "Imaginary TV" stars multiple talents chosen by Abloh himself including tai chi Olympian Liang Biying, Nigerian rocker Mdou Moctar and more.

"The idea of 'Imaginary TV' stems from a modern poetic vision for, and of, the evermore virtual world. It takes a universal and all-inclusive approach. I want to connect and generate a global network, and bring together creativity while catalyzing a range of emotions," Abloh shared. "We’re living in a world and at a time that is already largely digitally native. Within the collection itself, I wanted to capture what it is to be human at this very moment. Conundrum is ok, glitches are ok, duality is ok, and a dissolution of norms is ok."

Steering away from gender-specific styles, men and women are seen wearing long skirts, knitted dresses, suits and halter-neck tops. In light of the ongoing pandemic, draping knitwear silhouettes feature tall necklines that can be pulled over the mouth, which can double as a face mask. Elsewhere, the brand new Burrow Bag, an evolution of Abloh's "Swiss" and "Meteor Shower" concepts, comes in a perforated shoulder bag shape crafted out of luxurious materials.

Head over to the dedicated "Imaginary TV" website to experience the entire collection yourself and watch the presentation below. The Burrow Bag is now available to shop via Off-White™’s website.
