Lemaire Highlights the Act of Aimless Wandering in FW21 Collection

Last year, Christophe Lemaire and Sarah Linh-Tran said goodbye to women's collections, announcing plans for co-ed runways instead. As anticipated, the duo showed their Fall/Winter 2021 lineup during Paris Fashion Week Men's. The presentation takes inspiration from the "flâneur" (which translates to "gentleman stroller of city streets") characterized by 19th-century poet Charles Baudelaire.

Keeping true to the Lemaire brand DNA, the FW21 collection features minimalist tonal garments that are layered with one another. Models are seen aimlessly wandering through a dark runway space in styles such as trench coats, boiler suits and oversized blazers in muted shades like navy, khaki, reddish-brown, turquoise and more. Relaxed trousers are paired with cool-chic boots with wrinkled details at the ankle, while lightweight jackets and coats are worn together for an effortless casual look. Amid the deep palette, colors such as mustard yellow, beige and bold red serve as accents.
