AMBUSH x Gentle Monster Continue Team-Up With Statement Sunglasses

Building on the success of their first collaboration, AMBUSH and Gentle Monster have joined forces once again to release new sunglasses. This time around, the Japan-based brand's creative director Yoon Ahn created two eyewear styles arriving in three colorways each.
“Gentle Monster has been incredible with its unique vision and presence in the industry, releasing many unique pieces straight out of Korea, my motherland. I’m proud to announce our second collaboration using classic motifs, found in our jewelry line 'Carabiner,'" the designer shared in a statement. Inspired by climbing and outdoor sports, the frames come with 100 percent UV-protected Zeiss lenses. CARABINER 1 is a bold square silhouette, while CARABINER 2 is a cat-eye design with silver hardware added for contrast.
Celebrating the South Korean brand and next-gen creatives, the sophomore release features a soundtrack and video produced by GroovyRoom's Hwimin and Ash Island. Take a sneak peek down below before the collaborative track drops on July 9 at 6 p.m. KST (5 a.m. EST).
