Netflix Announces 'Sex Education' Season 3 Release Date

Netflix has finally revealed when Season 3 of Sex Education will be premiering. Along with the streaming giant's announcement, first-look images have also been unveiled.

Starring returning cast members like Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee-Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling and more, new faces have joined the Sex Education family. Jason Isaacs plays Peter Groff, Mr Groff’s older brother; recording artist and songwriter Dua Saleh plays Cal, a nonbinary student at Moordale; and Indra Ové plays Maeve's (Mackey) sister Elsie's foster mom, Anna.

"It’s a new year, Otis (Butterfield) is having casual sex, Eric (Gatwa) and Adam (Swindells) are official, and Jean (Anderson) has a baby on the way," Netflix's official description reads. "Meanwhile, new headteacher Hope (Jemima Kirke) tries to return Moordale to a pillar of excellence, Aimee (Wood) discovers feminism, Jackson (Stirling) gets a crush and a lost voicemail still looms. Prepare for commitment animals, alien phenomena, vulva cupcakes and much more of Madam Groff (Samantha Spiro)."

While we wait for the official trailer to release, take a first look at the upcoming show above. Sex Education Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on September 17.
