South Korean Actor Park Seo-joon Reportedly Cast in 'Captain Marvel 2'

Captain Marvel 2, officially titled The Marvels, is set to premiere in 2022 starring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers. Newcomers Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani will also appear in the sequel, taking on the major roles of Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan respectively.

In addition to the main cast, a new face has reportedly been added: Park Seo-joon. Known for his roles in Oscar Award-winning film Parasite as Min-hyuk and Netflix's Itaewon Class as Park Saeroyi, the South Korean actor has been allocated an unknown part in the movie. According to Starnews KoreaSeo-joon will travel to the U.S. later this year to begin filming.

If the above claims are true, this will mark Seo-joon's official Hollywood debut – a huge step in his career. As of now, the star's agency has no comment on the rumors.

The Marvels will release on November 11, 2022. Stay tuned while we wait for official details to surface.
