Seth Rogen has finally spoken out about longstanding sexual misconduct allegations against James Franco, who has worked alongside the Canadian comedian in several films. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Rogen says his views on Franco have changed, and that he will no longer work with the actor.

In 2014, screenshots of an alleged conversation between Franco and a 17-year-old girl surfaced online -- the messages show Franco asking whether the teenager is single, and if he should book a hotel room for them. In 2018, several women who were students at Franco's former acting school alleged that he pressured them into sexual situations. In 2019, Franco reached a settlement with two of these women, who sued the actor for sexually exploiting his students.

Despite several accounts of Franco's predatory behavior, Rogen said in 2018 that he would continue working his Pineapple Express co-star. Rogen's stance has now shifted: "I also look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now," he said. In addition to his working relationship with Franco, Rogen confirmed that the pair's personal friendship has also been affected by the allegations.

Rogen's new statements on Franco come just weeks after actor Charlyne Yi called out both entertainers on Instagram, stating that she was bribed to continue working on The Disaster Artist after learning of the allegations against Franco. "Seth Rogen was one of the producers on this film so he definitely knows about the bribe and why I quit," she wrote.
