For its latest collection, Bode has combined the Spring/Summer 2021 and Fall/Winter 2021 seasons to create a SS/FW21 range. Titled "A Year Off," the lineup pays tribute to designer Emily Bode's uncle, Bill Bode.

"In 1969, instead of paying tuition, a 20-year-old Bill Bode took his parents' money and spent a year off outdoors. He raced cars on a frozen Lake Champlain, lost time in never-ending monopoly games and found his way to Woodstock," the collection notes begin, explaining the meaning behind the title "A Year Off." In addition to celebrating Bill's life, the range also references the unprecedented "new normal" life we've been living over the past 12 months.

The garments are pictured in a set meant to resemble Bill's college dorm room at the University of Vermont with magazines and playing cards scattered across the floor. A variety of patterns take over the collection on knitwear pieces, while looks are kept balanced with tailored suit sets. Bode's signature camp collar shirts are seen throughout alongside patchworked items and vintage-inspired details. Standouts include blue and brown jackets with fringes across the hem, as well as a top-and-bottom set adorned with floral embroidery.
