Coach presented its Spring/Summer 2025 runway show during New York Fashion Week, offering a new interpretation of "luxury" and merging American classics with house codes. "My vision for Spring was to show real clothes in a real, relevant, urban environment," said Creative Director Stuart Vevers in a press release.

"We're redesigning these clothes, keeping in mind the values of a new generation that is discovering these pieces for the first time. So many elements of this collection come down to personality. We've taken very archetypal pieces and made them unique to the wearer, with the proportions, with the styling, and with very playful embellishments that call into question the idea of traditional 'luxury.' I think what's more valuable today is something that's personal," he adds.

Read on for Hypebae's review of Coach SS25.

Who: Special guests at the brand's show included friends of the brand alongside the stars of Coach's recent "Unlock Your Courage" campaign, including Charles Melton, Nazha, Storm Reid, Jayson Tatum and Youngji Lee.

Where: Taking inspiration from the energy of New York City, the runway show was held on the High Line's Spur, offering an elevated park setting that helped guests understand the environment that inspired the collection. The show's set design echoed its environment, elevated by impressive views, moving portraits and hand-drawn elements.

See: Aside from the ludicrously capacious bags that undoubtedly stole the show, Coach SS25 featured a mixture of classic and preppy silhouettes interspersed with silky satin dresses and elevated essentials. Tourist tees, souvenir jackets and I Heart NY memorabilia graced the runway, paired with striped boxer shorts and shirts.

Touch: Textured knits, leather bags and distressed tees characterized the collection, giving classic silhouettes a grungy edge. A variation of leather hues from basic black to two-toned brown added another layer to the collection's color palette, while nostalgic playthings from yesteryear added a 3D edge to plain white sneakers.

Taste: If there's one thing to take away from Coach SS25 it's that big bags are in and as always, the bigger the better.
