It-girl of the moment Alex Consani just starred in another new campaign, this time teaming up with Casablanca Paris. Featuring in the new "Venus As A Boy" campaign film for Fall/Winter 2024, the new release sees Consani captured alongside Adam Castellano, Mamuor Majeng, Georgia Palmer, Mary Ukech, Rolf Schrader and Tida Rosvall.

Showcasing the brand's FW24 collection, the new campaign takes influence from Greek discoveries and teachings, featuring nods to time travel and space. Eleusis, the Grecian pilgrimage destination, served as inspiration for this season's collection, a place associated with mind-opening and transformative experiences fuelled by psychedelics.

Echoing that sentiment, the campaign film sees models reenacting the classic poses of Grecian gods and Olympian heroes, captured across temple staircases, billowing clouds and rotating galaxies. Created in collaboration with director Frédéric de Pontcharra, the campaign features references to '90s music videos and most notably, Bjork's 1993 single "Venus As A Boy."

"Björk's lyrics in that song have always spoken to me," says Tajer in a press release. "As friends have often pointed out, her message — he believes in beauty. He's Venus as a boy -- reflecting my ever-strong curiosity and my constant desire for beauty. And the fact that Venus herself was the Roman re-imagining of the Greek goddess of beauty, Aphrodite, adds another layer to our themes of re-contextualization and parallels between the ancient and modern world."
