The best female golfers in the world are getting ready for the AIG Women's Open in St Andrews, Scotland, which isn't exactly a fashion mecca, but adidas is hoping to change that. And they won't be able to do it without the help of new label JAY3LLE. The brand, a product of Johan Lindeberg and his daughter Blue Lindeberg, launched earlier this year with a series of ballet slippers, opting for one off "item" releases rather than full collections. But now JAY3LLE's first big collaboration has arrived, and it'll be showcased all week on the body of Swedish professional golfer and adidas athlete Linn Grant.

With an undeniable Y2K flavor as evidenced by its bright pinks and purples, matching tops and bottoms and retro silhouettes, the collection encompasses everything from bomber jackets, to tracksuits and even footwear. "I have always sought to modernize the game of golf through fashion," said Johan Lindeberg. "This capsule speaks to the energy and inclusive community that’s steadily growing in the sport and especially amongst women." People familiar with Lindeberg's past work will notice some of those integrations of sport and fashion. Take for example for the pleated skort which has an integrated belt that elevates it from a dependable essential to a standout piece that could be worn on or off the golf course. Another highlight is the CODECHAOS JAY3LLE, a footwear silhouette built on the same last as the newly released CODECHAOS 25. This version, however, features a high top design, perforated premium leather, a buckle closure and a holster for tees.

To see these pieces in action be sure to tune in to the AIG Women's Open starting tomorrow, August 22. The full collection is available now on adidas's website and select retailers.
