It's Official, Hunter Schafer and Rosalía Dated

Hunter Schafer reveals that she and Rosalía were a secret celebrity couple...

In a new interview with GQ, Euphoria's Schafer is asked whether "she’s checked in with Rosalía," our "Hentai" bae. Rumors began to circulate that the pair was an item after a furniture shopping stint. According to Schafer -- with approval from Rosalía -- they were definitely an item. For exactly five months "in the fall and winter of 2019." Apparently, the actor-slash-model was unsure at first if she was even on a date, an experience many femme presenting queers can relate to.

However, that was 2019 and as of 2024, "they’re friends, which is something Schafer is proud of," GQ wrote. "From smoothie runs to furniture shopping, it truly couldn't get any gayer. "It’s been so much speculation for so long,” Schafer admitted. "Part of us just wants to get it over with, and then another part is like, 'It’s none of anybody’s fucking business!'" And she's right. But knowing how nosy the public is she admits, "It’s something I’m happy to share. And I think she feels that way too."

The relationship was before Rosalía's engagement to Rauw Alejandro and Schafer's romance with Euphoria costar Dominic Fike. Schafer continued, "I’m still in some ways healing from the last thing," Schafer spoke of her 2023 split with Fike. "I want to make sure I’m good all the way before I jump into something else."

"I have really beautiful friendships with people that I was once romantically involved with and Rosalía is "family no matter what."
