Ayo Edebiri and Kaia Gerber Got Matching Tattoos

Bottoms co-stars Ayo Edebiri and Kaia Gerber have cemented their friendship with matching tattoos.

The newly iconic duo decided to make their platonic love permanent after Edebiri hosted Saturday Night Live. “I went to see [Edebiri] on SNL and she did such a wonderful job. The next day, I thought she would just stay in bed and kind of relax after what I know is a very intense week, but she was like, ‘We're getting tattoos,” the brunette beauty shared with E! News. After acting alongside each other in the queer Fight Club-coded film, the model and comedian have become close. Gerber added, “Whatever she says, I do.”

Gerber isn’t Edebiri’s only new confidant, though. The Bear actor has also been seen cozying up to Normal People’s Paul Mescal. Fans suspect that the pair may have soft-launched their relationship this weekend with an adorable St. Patrick’s Day picture - following on from their BAFTAs moment.

Edebiri herself isn’t Irish, but after she accidentally spoke in an Irish accent back in March 2023, the Internet started a joke that she was, resulting in the comedian and the country adopting one another. The wholesome Instagram story featured Edebiri and Mescal in a joyful, candid moment. Edebiri is smiling with her eyes closed, while Mescal’s tattooed arm rests on her legs. After a widely publicized relationship with Phoebe Bridges, Mescal has been understandably tight-lipped about his romantic life, so it’s unlikely either will confirm the dating rumors. We can only hope that the pair will debut matching ink of their own.
