6 Fashion Brands I Always Love to Shop at Nordstrom

If you were to open up my Nordstrom app (or check out the dozens of tabs open on my laptop), there is a trusty handful of brands and designers you're guaranteed to see selected in the dropdown menu. When I mean business—like when Nordstrom has sale and I want to concentrate on hunting through the go-to brands that always speak to me—I start with these brands.

Some of these you'll recognize and maybe a couple you won't, including one of my favorite designers from Australia and a Canadian jewelry brand that's very buzzy right now. From designer buys to wallet-friendly styles, these are the six brands at Nordstrom that never fail to tempt me (and the pieces they have on offer right now that prove why).

Like so many editors, I really love Jenny Bird’s jewelry for statement-ish pieces (which is to say that they're modern and cool but not too dramatic) at really friendly price points. The Canadian designer’s chunkier items—like the Tome earrings—are compliment magnets and much lighter than you’d expect, which makes them perfect for wearing all day every day.

Don’t forget that Mango is available at Nordstrom, especially this time of year. I’m of the opinion that Mango is at its best over the colder months and have been shouting out the quality of its winter coats and blazers for years now—I’m still wearing purchases from seasons and seasons ago that look and feel as current as ever.

Look, I’ll stop being such a sucker for Khaite when Khaite stops bombarding me with beautiful things that speak to me the way they do. Buzzy yet-low-key. Polished but with that downtown energy. Also, I really do love a designer brand that encourages investing by bringing back some key styles season after season rather than making us feel like we always need something new.

One of very my favorite Australian brands, SIR is always so good for modern tailoring and great dresses in colors that feel of-the-moment.

There’s really something going on with Jeffrey Campbell at the moment. Everyone’s obviously fawning over great flats and Mary Janes at the moment, and these Jeffrey Campbell styles definitely hold their own among designer picks. From trendy metallics to classic black, this footwear brings low-key cool at a really good price point.

I’m a huge fan of Nordstrom’s in-house knitwear—it hits all the key styles (crew-neck, V-neck, cardigan, chunky cable-knit, light cashmere, you name it), some of which are helpfully offered up more than a dozen colorways. (Don't miss peeping the men's section for some great options as well.)
