The Crown on Netflix offers sex education viewers were not expecting.

This post contains spoilers.

The hit series recounting the literal tea of the Royal Family has garnered all the hype for its accuracy and of course, its fashion references -- cue Princess Diana's revenge dress. But one instance we didn't expect to go viral? Flavored condoms.

In the latter end of Season 6, Harry hands his brother William a condom reminding him to have safe sex -- or else prepare for the worst.  "Since you’ll be flying the nest soon. And because accidents do happen. You’ll all be thanking me later," Harry says as he passes off the condom. "Putting them in your mouth is optional," he says, revealing it's not just any condom, but a flavored condom. "Just a bit of advice," he says while Queen Elizabeth asks her sister, "What are they? Sweeties?" Not quite, grandma.

How to properly use flavored condoms:

As Condoms.uk shared with hypebae, flavored condoms were created for those who despise that gross latex taste standard condoms provide. However, as the brand shared there is a caveat to using flavored condoms.

"Whilst flavored condoms can add a fun twist to your sex life, the majority of condoms should only ever be used for oral sex and are not recommended for vaginal sex due to the potential risks that they pose," it shared. "Their flavoring, often derived from sugar-based ingredients like glucose or glycerine added to the lubricant, could lead to irritation and yeast infections, or disrupt a vagina’s natural PH balance." As a result, flavored condoms should only be used for oral -- and never vaginal or anal sex.
